Nina Capital opens new EUR 50m investment vehicle

Overview

RocaJunyent has advised on the incorporation of Nina Capital Fund III with 50 million euros.

The venture capital firm brings its third fund to the market after having raised a total of €300 million and €60 million of its own investments in almost fifty start-ups in the medical technology sector.

In five years, Nina Capital has positioned itself as an international benchmark in the venture capital sector in areas such as digital health and medical technologies. The company achieved a 70% repetition rate with its previous investment vehicle and has invested around sixty million euros in almost fifty early-stage companies in the last five years.

Among its successes was the sale in 2022 to US healthcare analytics multinational Aetion of one of Nina Capital's investees, Replica Analytics.

The transaction was advised by Xavier Foz, Jordi Bermúdez and Marc Rovira.
