07/03/2023

The Official State Gazette has published three new laws of interest that directly impact labour relations and the field of Social Security:

  • Organic Law 1/2023, of 28 February, amends Organic Law 2/2010, of 3 March, on sexual and reproductive health and voluntary termination of pregnancy. In the employment field, three new special situations of temporary incapacity due to common contingencies are recognised, among other measures.
  • Law 3/2023, of 28 February, on employment, came into force on 2 March 2023 and establishes significant changes regarding the non-seizability of the minimum interprofessional wage and the need for a mandatory report by the Labour Inspectorate on the causes of collective dismissals and documentary sufficiency.
  • And Law 4/2023, of 28 February, for the real and effective equality of trans people and for the guarantee of the rights of LGTBI people.
