Advising Excom Group on the acquisition of Telecable Fibra
We advised Excom Group, the Spanish teleco backed by private equity firm Formentor Capital and debt fund Kartesia, on the acquisition of Telecable Fibra Group.
Initiated in 1993 with the founding of the cable television provider Telecable Santa Pola, Telecable Fibra Group is currently one of the leading independent telecommunications operators in Spain with a network of 160,000 fiber to the home (FTTH) accesses, 20,000 FTTH clients and 4,000 Wimax clients.
In the last two years, Excom Group has quadrupled its size through the acquisition and integration of a total of nine operators (four of them within the last two months).
On this deal, Excom Group was counselled by Corporate and M&A partner Carlos Blanco Morillo, senior associates Javier Arenas Olivencia and Elena Ferrer Velasco, and associates Íñigo Oliván García and Mariano Renedo Laguna.
