AEW acquires office building in Barcelona

We have advised AEW, a US-based real estate investment firm, in the acquisition of an office building under construction in Barcelona's 22@ district. The deal value was not disclosed.

Specifically, the building is located between Avila and Badajoz St. and will have 8,400 m2 distributed in two adjacent buildings, one with four floors and the other with three. The building is currently undergoing refurbishment and the work is expected to be completed in 4Q22.
