Juniper Group buys Grupo Avalon Informática y Servicios

Juniper Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vela Software, an operating group of the Canadian listed Group Constellation Software, Inc. (TSX: CSU), has completed the acquisition of Avalon Informática y Servicios Group.

Since 1986, Madrid-based Avalon develops advanced PoS and ERP systems for service stations, convenience stores and fuel distribution centers across Spain and Latin America. Its highly integrated soft-and hardware solutions allow clients to manage their entire operations in real time.

Following the acquisition, Avalon will operate as an independent division of the Juniper Group. The company will continue to develop, enhance, service, and support their range of software and hardware solutions in providing a competitive edge to its customers.
