Monei admitted to the regulatory sandbox

RocaJunyent has advised the fintech Monei in obtaining the admission to the regulatory sandbox of the Bank of Spain. The project to be tested consists in the issuance of a stable coin backed by euros for making payment transactions.

Xavier Foz and Joaquim Matinero, Fintech partner and associate, Beatriz Rodríguez and Celia Príncipe, Data Protection partner and lawyer, and Milagros Fasan, Prevention of Money Laundering lawyer, have led the advice. 

Monei is a fintech that simplifies and streamlines digital payments and allows any entity to integrate with Shopify and other e-commerce platforms through a simple API.
