17/04/2026

Miquel Roca Junyent, founding partner of RocaJunyent, has recently received the Award for the Defence of the Constitutional State, granted by CES Cardenal Cisneros within the framework of the 1st Law Congress: “The Rule of Law in Crisis”, held yesterday.

This award recognises individuals whose careers have been decisive in the defence, promotion and strengthening of constitutional values in Spain. The jury has awarded the prize ex aequo to Miquel Roca Junyent and Miguel Herrero y Rodríguez de Miñón, in recognition of their essential contribution to the construction and consolidation of the Constitutional State.

The decision has been adopted by a highly distinguished jury, chaired by Luis María Cazorla Prieto and composed, among others, of Pedro González-Trevijano, Francisco Pérez de los Cobos, Encarnación Roca Trías, Consuelo Madrigal and Virgilio Zapatero, who have assessed the relevance, institutional impact and legal significance of the awardees’ careers.

For RocaJunyent, this recognition highlights the legal and institutional legacy of its founding partner and reinforces the firm’s commitment to the principles that have inspired its activity since its origins: legal rigour, the defence of the Rule of Law, institutional responsibility and a vocation for public service.

During the same ceremony, CES Cardenal Cisneros has also awarded the Prize for Legal Career to Javier Delgado Barrio, the Prize for Academic Career to Araceli Mangas Martín, and the Prize for Outstanding Institution in the Defence of Constitutional Values to the Armed Forces.
