Pascual Sala, ACIJUR's "Puñetas de Oro" Award
The Asociación de Comunicadores e Informadores Jurídicos (ACIJUR) has awarded the prizes of the XI Edition of the Puñetas Awards. The Puñetas Awards recognise the work of individuals, institutions or groups for their contribution to improving justice and the rule of law.
In this edition, the "Puñetas de Oro" Award has been granted to Judge Pascual Sala, former president of the Constitutional Court, the Council of the Judiciary, the Supreme Court and the Court of Auditors and partner of RocaJunyent, for a long and brilliant career of professional and institutional prestige and for having demonstrated in his day that it is possible to renew the constitutional bodies even if the parties are unable to reach an agreement.
On the other hand, our partner Marlen Estévez, as president of the association WLW | Women in a Legal World, has received the "Puñetas de Bronce" Award for her fight in favour of promoting equality and female talent in the legal profession.
In the 2019 edition, Miquel Roca already received the "Puñetas de Plata" award for his career as a lawyer, his role as father of the Constitution and for his permanent defence of coexistence in Catalonia.
