RocaJunyent promotes Carles Calafell to Partner
Calafell has been a member of the firm's tax team for 16 years.
Barcelona, 1 December 2023. RocaJunyent has promoted Carles Calafell to partner of the Tax Department, one of the most relevant and recognised areas of the firm. With the promotion of Carles Calafell, the firm's Tax Department now has 8 partners and 27 professionals.
Calafell has extensive experience in providing legal and tax advice to national and multinational groups, family businesses, start-ups and business angels. The new partner has extensive knowledge of tax advice to companies in the field of direct, indirect and local taxation and tax administration. He also has extensive experience in tax optimisation processes and in the design and execution of corporate restructuring operations and generational changes in family businesses, as well as in assisting in inspection processes before the Administration.
With the arrival of Carles Calafell to the partnership, the firm completes the promotions to partner for the 2023 financial year, a year in which the partners of the Real Estate department, Esther Boix, and of the Tax department, Pilar Vacas, have also been promoted.
