Ethics and good governance
For RocaJunyent the terms Law and Society are not just two words: they are our way of understanding and practising the legal profession. We firmly believe in integrity, honesty, service and responsibility, and we apply them in everything we do. The law, the rules of ethics and the RocaJunyent Code of Ethics are the fundamental guidelines for our work. They are also the guarantee for providing the best service to our clients.
Regulatory compliance is defined in our Code of Ethics, which is applicable to all partners, lawyers and collaborators of the Firm, as well as to the entire RocaJunyent Group.
Our legal profession has always required a high sense of ethics in the provision of legal services, reflected in the growing number of regulations that demand strict compliance in all business activities. Our Code of Ethics aims to set exemplary standards in the provision of legal services, adapting to the ethical and legal expectations of today's society. In order for our clients to understand this level of demand, it is crucial that they see this ethic reflected in our own internal practices.
This ethical commitment requires the adherence of all members of our firm, being more than an academic document, it is a contractual commitment to respect, practice and defend its principles before ourselves, our clients and society in general.

The main objective of the Protocol for prevention and action in the event of harassment at work, sexual harassment and/or harassment on grounds of sex is to prevent situations of harassment from occurring, as these are a threat to people's dignity, damage the working environment and generate undesirable effects on people's health, morale, confidence and self-esteem, as well as being contrary to the law.
These protocols define the conduct to be prevented, arbitrate the specific measures for such prevention and establish the procedure for intervention in situations presumably constituting harassment, in order to channel the complaints or claims made by those who have been subjected to such conduct or have become aware of it.
Our Code of Conduct for users of computer systems and digital devices provides clear guidelines to our collaborators on how to use these resources in order to preserve and safeguard the company's information. This set of guidelines applies both internally and externally to RocaJunyent.

The purpose of our Public Sector Entity Relations Policy is to set out the rules and procedures that the firm has defined for relations and the procurement of services with public sector entities, i.e. public administrations, companies and public bodies, national or international courts, as well as political parties and their representatives.

RocaJunyent has established an internal reporting channel that allows any member of the firm or third parties outside the firm to report possible breaches of regulations, either by identifying themselves or anonymously. This channel forms part of RocaJunyent's Internal Reporting System, regulated by Law 2/2023 of 20 February.

RocaJunyent has set up an Ethics Channel to report potential irregularities in accordance with the terms of Law 2/2023 of 20 February. All communications received through the Ethics Channel, by professionals of the firm or third parties outside the firm, will be confidential. Furthermore, communications may be identified and anonymous.
