Latour acquires Batec Mobility

MS Group, a subsidiary of Sweeden-based Latour, acquired Spain-based Batec Mobility. The deal value was not disclosed.  

Batec Mobility, founded in 2006 in Sant Quirze del Vallès, Barcelona, is a manufacturer of systems to allow mobility to people on wheelchairs. The company has an annual turnover of EUR 4.8m and has 41 employees.  The sellers were Momentum Social Investment, which is a subsidiary of BBVA [BME:BBVA], and a group of minority shareholders.
