RocaJunyent advises Aurica Capital on Reale Seguros’ entry into Canitas, a chain of veterinary clinics

RocaJunyent has advised private equity firm Aurica Capital on Reale Seguros’ investment in Canitas, a Spanish chain of veterinary clinics, through the acquisition of an 18.9% stake.

The transaction has been structured so that Aurica Capital retains a majority stake in Canitas, thereby strengthening a venture with a solid track record of growth and a clear long-term vision. This strategic alliance will drive the company’s development and accelerate its consolidation as a leading platform in the sector.

Canitas has established itself as one of the leading operators in the veterinary sector in Spain, with an integrated service model focused on animal health and welfare. The incorporation of Reale as a strategic partner will enable progress in the integration of insurance and healthcare services, generating synergies and added value for both clients and partners.
