RocaJunyent improves its positioning in the Chambers Europe guide

  • Dispute Resolution (Spain), Tax and Public Law (Barcelona) are highlighted in this edition of the ranking
  • Albert Rodríguez and Blanca Cortés move forward with Band 2 in their particular rankings

Madrid, 20 March 2023. RocaJunyent continues for another year to scale up positions in the European edition of the Chambers and Partners international directory. In total, 12 of its practice areas and 10 of its professionals are highlighted in the guide.

In this edition, the Tax and Public Law departments, both of Barcelona, are included in the directory, while Dispute Resolution does the same in Spain’s ranking. 

In addition, this year the English directory also highlights the areas of Banking & Finance (Spain), Employment (in its rankings in both Spain and Barcelona), Intellectual Property (Spain), Real Estate (Spain), Corporate/Commercial (Barcelona), Dispute Resolution (Barcelona), Restructuring/Insolvency (Barcelona) and Tax (Spain), to which Tax and Public Law in Barcelona and Dispute Resolution in Spain are added.            

Regarding the Tax department, the firm’s clients interviewed by the English directory praise that lawyers and economists make “a realistic assessment of the matter to help identify the appropriate path to follow”. Concerning Public Law, the directory underlines that “RocaJunyent has a well-coordinated and effective team that has a lot of knowledge”. Regarding the last of the departments that enter the directory this year, Dispute Resolution, and their professionals, the interviewees emphasise that “they fight until the end when there are possibilities of success and also offer good commercial agreement options and alternative resolutions”.

Escalation of partner positions

As for the professionals, Blanca Cortés (Intellectual Property: Copyrights) and Albert Rodríguez (Employment: Barcelona) advance their position and both rank in Band 2 of their respective rankings.  

In addition, eight professionals hold a prominent position in this year’s Chambers Europe Guide. They are Miquel Roca, Joan Roca, Blanca Usón, Javier Vázquez, José Luis Pita da Veiga, Juan Antonio Borràs, Marlen Estévez and Raúl Salas.
