Biography and experience

She specialises in providing advice on employment and social security law. Her practice focuses on the legal defence of labour disputes before the labour courts, both individual and collective, as well as providing advice on contractual matters, employment legislation, social security and labour inspections, and on the negotiation and drafting of equality plans, LGBTI policies and harassment protocols.

She has extensive experience in drafting internal company policies and contracts, as well as in-depth knowledge of procedural matters and a multidisciplinary background.

In the academic sphere, she is a lecturer in Labour and Social Security Law at CEF-UDIMA and the Complutense University’s School of Legal Practice, a visiting lecturer at the Training School of the General Council of the Judiciary, and a specialist in in-company training.

She is a member of the National Association of Labour Lawyers (ASNALA), as well as a member and co-chair of the Labour Relations and Labour Law Committee of Women in a Legal World (WLW). She holds a qualification in Labour Law Consultancy from CEF-UDIMA.She is currently conducting research into harassment in labour relations.

Amaia speaks English, Spanish and Basque.
