Javier Arenas Olivencia
Biography and experience
Javier specialises in Private Equity and M&A, and has extensive experience in the purchase and sale of companies and businesses, joint ventures, mergers and other corporate restructurings, advising both national and international investment funds and companies from various sectors and industries.
In addition, he provides recurring commercial advice on corporate and contractual matters to various Spanish companies and international groups with a presence in Spain, in addition to participating in various financing transactions.
In the academic field, Javier holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Law from the CEU San Pablo University, a Double Master’s Degree in Legal Practice and Legal Advice for Companies (LL.M) from the Instituto de Empresa, and the Executive Program in Private Equity and M&A from the Instituto Superior de Bolsa, Inversión y Finanzas (ISBIF).
Committed to legal dissemination, he has collaborated with specialised media such as Expansión Jurídico, Hay Derecho, Lefebvre, Thomson Reuters, Legal Today and Fundación del Notariado, contributing with articles, analysis and reflection on current legal issues.
