Analysis of new measures for equal treatment and non-discrimination

On 13 July 2022, Law 15/2022 of 12 July, integral to equal treatment and non-discrimination (Law 15/2022), was published in the Official Spanish Gazette (Boletin Oficial del Estado, BOE) No 167, effective from the day following its publication.

The purpose of Law 15/2022 is to guarantee and promote the right to equal treatment and non-discrimination, as well as respect for the equal dignity of persons in line with Articles 9.2, 10 and 14 of the Spanish Constitution. All this through a package of measures to prevent, eliminate and correct all forms of discrimination, directly or indirectly, in the public and private sectors.
