RocaJunyent advises GSIF Spain on investment in Éxxita Be Circular

RocaJunyent has advised GSIF Spain, investment vehicle of the Spanish Global Social Impact Investments (GSI), in the investment made in Éxxita Be Circular, for a total amount of €6,000,000, through different operations.

This is the fourth transaction in which RocaJunyent advises this fund, highlighting its specialisation in impact economics.

Éxxita Be Circular, based in Bollullos de la Mitación, Seville, has 20 years of experience in the Circular Economy and specialises in the reuse of electronic devices. The company has its own technology with which it recovers around 500,000 electronic devices every year, saving more than 110,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

The company, in addition to its Éxxita Academy training line, also manages a programme to attract talent around its centre in Bollullos de la Mitación (Seville) so that vocational training students from nearby schools can be trained and introduced to the device repair sector and circular economy models, with the aim of attracting a young and educated population to the region.

The operation has been led by the team specialising in impact investment, made up of Santi Pagès, Lourdes Amigó de Bonet and Javier Rodríguez.
