Oriol Valentí i Vidal

Oriol acts as counsel and arbitrator in domestic and international commercial arbitration, appearing before leading arbitration institutions including the ICC, LCIA, CAM, CIMA and TAB, on behalf of financial and industrial business groups.

He holds a Double Degree in Law and Business Management from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, a Diploma in Legal Studies from the University of Oxford and an LLM from Harvard Law School, where he received the Dean’s Award for Community Leadership.

 Admitted to practise in Spain and New York, he is a member of the governing body of the Arbitration Court of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce (Consolat de Mar), co-chair of the Arbitration Commission of the Barcelona Bar Association, and an active member of both the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club (CEIA) and the International Bar Association (IBA).

He combines his legal practice with teaching at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and ESADE Law School.

Oriol speaks English, Portuguese, French, Spanish and Catalan.
