Biography and experience
Silvia López Jiménez has more than 20 years of experience in the practice of Real Estate and Construction law and real estate financing, as well as in corporate legal advice and corporate governance in the international environment, and has been selected by the publications Legal 500 and Best Lawyer among the best lawyers specialised in real estate law in Spain.
Silvia has developed her career in prestigious national and international law firms, such as Garrigues and DLA Piper and has been in-house legal manager at Virgin Active, SAREB and Neinor Homes, to which she is still linked as Secretary of the Board of Directors. She is also Secretary of the Board of Directors of the renewable energy company Enerside Energy, listed on BME Growth.
She has experience in advising on all types of real estate transactions, including real estate sales and purchases, leases, construction contracts, hotel contracts, real estate financing contracts and due diligence of all types of assets.
In addition, she combines her professional activity with teaching on the Master's Degree in Real Estate Development (MRED) at the IE Architecture School, on the Master's Degree in Management of Construction and Real Estate Companies (MDI) at the Technical University of Madrid, on the specialisation degree at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Edificación at the Technical University of Madrid and on the Master's Degree in International Law at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE).
