Bill on procedural efficiency measures in the public justice service
The Council of Ministers has just approved the Bill on measures of procedural efficiency of the public justice service. This Bill, together with two others (that on the organisational efficiency of the Justice service - which has also been approved - and that on the digital efficiency of the Justice service) form the basis of the Justice 2030 programme, which aims to transform the Justice service to make it more efficient.
The core of the programme is procedural adaptation to digital technologies and the incorporation of the so-called Appropriate Methods for Dispute Resolution (AMDR), understood as any negotiation activity which the parties to a conflict undertake in good faith with the aim of achieving a consensual and out-of-court solution.
