30/03/2023

Pere Vidal, Senior Associate in Employment Law, reflects in this article published by AJA magazine (Legal Today) on the employment aspects of the new "Trans Law" in Spain, which aims to promote equality for LGBTQ+ people.

In addition, the law also amends Article 17 of the Law on Labour Jurisdiction, allowing associations that promote the rights of LGBTQ+ people to defend these rights in court. However, Pere Vidal points out that the law does not include "gender expression or sexual characteristics" in the section on discrimination.
