Delivery of shares in capital increases of listed companies; analysis of Article 508 of the Capital Companies Act

Stock markets are at a gallop, investors demand immediacy and minimisation of market risk; the execution of capital increases requires compliance with legal, administrative and registry formalities that clash with the dynamics of the stock markets.
 

Jaime Tarrero, partner of M&A and Corporate and Capital Markets at RocaJunyent, has written this article published in Diario La Ley, in which he analyses article 508 of the Capital Companies Act, which has partly solved this problem, but with a wording that offers doubts that could significantly reduce its usefulness.
