The Directorate-General for Legal Security and Certification takes a first-time look at cryptocurrency and cryptoasset-related businesses

On 16 December 2021, the Directorate-General for Legal Security and Certification (the "Directorate") published in the BOE a new resolution in which, for the first time, it qualifies a corporate purpose of a company in incorporation that was based on activities related to the generation of cryptocurrency cryptoassets and the advice derived from them (the "Resolution").
