Decree-Law 3/2025, of 4 March, adopting urgent measures in the field of public procurement

On 6 March 2025, the Official Gazette of the Generalitat of Catalonia No. 9365 published Decree-Law 3/2025, of 4 March, adopting urgent measures in the field of public procurement, which comes into force on 7 March 2025 and must be ratified by the Parliament within 30 days.

This regulation aims to improve the quality of public procurement by Catalan administrations, facilitating the access of SMEs to award procedures and adopting measures to accelerate the execution of public works and facilitate the construction of public housing.
